Henderson Basketball Academy provides top level youth basketball training for athletes in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. Coach David Henderson focuses on young players who want to push themselves to the next level. The HBA program concentrates on teaching strong basic and advanced fundamentals while developing superior skills. Attention to detail and the philosophy of “no bad habits” is the key to developing the best players. Defending baseline to baseline and learning the game.

David Henderson
David Henderson is a Los Angeles native who played basketball at Fairfax High school under Coach Harvey Kitani. David played at the College of Southern Idaho under NJCAA Hall of Fame Coach and former San Diego State Coach, Fred Trenkle. (former assistant to former Southern Idaho, Arkansas, Kentucky coach, Eddie Sutton)
Professionally, Dave played in Europe, South America and in the CBA. He has playing experience under Coach George Carl of the Denver Nuggets as well as with the L.A. Clippers. He played for Magic Johnson’s All-star team for six years.
David has been coaching youth sports since 1997. His acute knowledge of the game of basketball and inherent coaching abilities are a terrific combination for teaching young athletes eager to take their game to the next level.
